Course Description
Online learning:
Your journey into yoga begins at home with a 6-week online learning program. This program includes a daily yoga practice, video classes and readings. Throughout the course, you will have the support of our dedicated Yoga and Wellness Team. Through our webinars, you will connect with a worldwide community of others who are also passionate about yoga.
Residential program:
During these two weeks, you immerse yourself in the practice of yoga, heart-based meditation, and the yogic lifestyle. Through proven methods and activities, the Yoga and Wellness Team creates a safe and supportive environment for individual growth and group experience. Through your daily yoga and meditation practice, you work toward one-pointedness; then you practice retaining the heart-centered quality you gain as your move through your day. Practice teaching sessions prepare you to share what you learn with others.
Heartfulness Yoga School is Registered with the Yoga Alliance.

Course Content
Our Yoga Teacher Training Course 200 hours starts online and ends up with an onsite intense 2-week training.
For the online part, set aside 1 hour per day for yoga practice, 2 hours per week for the theory (videos) as well as a few minutes to watch and correct the common mistakes of selected asanas (videos). We will also request you to fill a simple quiz at the end of each week.
The online learnings will be enhanced by 4 Webinars of 90 min each.

Margery Anderson
Margery Anderson lives in Vermont, a state in northeastern USA. After being certified as a Kripalu Yoga teacher and a Phoenix Rising Yoga therapist, Margery was introduced to Svaroopa™ yoga in 1996. She trained for over 11 years with its originator, Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati (then known as Rama Berch). She has been teaching Svaroopa™ yoga and practicing Svaroopa™ yoga therapy since 1997 and 1998, respectively, earning multiple advanced certifications in the following years. Margery began Heartfulness Meditation in 2003 and took the Heartfulness Yoga teacher training in Chennai in February, 2019. She is currently volunteering to help bring Heartfulness Yoga and Meditation training to the United States.
Leah Rich
Leah Rich has been practicing yoga asanas off and on for more than twenty years, has been practicing Heartfulness meditation for seventeen years and has been a Heartfulness meditation trainer for three. In 2019 she decided to pursue a Heartulness Yoga teaching certification to be able to share Heartfulness yoga to children and adults. She brings her professional teaching background in social emotional learning, training and curriculum development, to her Heartfulness yoga and meditation classes.
