This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and the Heartfulness Institute. The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Harvey Hahn, MD

Dr. Harvey Hahn is a board certified cardiologist with a strong professional and personal interest in lifestyle modification for the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease.  He is a formerly obese, hypertensive, hyperlipidemic person who has gotten off of all his medications with diet and exercise. He is currently the Program Director for the Kettering Medical Center Cardiovascular Fellowship Training program and Co-Director of KPN Cardiovascular Quality.

Kunal Desai, MD

Dr Kunal Desai graduated from a medical school in Surat, India and completed his Residency and Infectious diseases fellowship from Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio. He practices Infectious disease in Dayton, as a part of large private physicians group. He lives with his wife and 2 kids in Dayton.

Shanthi Venkat, PhD

Dr. Venkat has been a Physical Therapist for 35 years. Dr. Venkat received her Physical Therapy education from Christian Medical College, Vellore and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University, Pittsburgh. Dr. Venkat utilizes holistic approach in her practice. She is a Board Certified Tai Chi instructor and Heartfulness meditation trainer. She teaches Tai Chi and meditation to her clients.

Jhansi Koduri, MD

Assistant Professor at Wright State University and a Medical oncologist for over 15yrs. Believes in a holistic approach in caring for cancer patients. Privileged to be part of many cancer journeys, the fright and the fight, the hurt and healing and the journey of hope. Passionate towards formatting health initiatives in collaboration with local organizations and initiated a variety of health educational activities in the community.

Miral Amin, MD

Dr Miral Amin is a board-certified general surgeon with additional training in Breast Oncology and Oncoplastic surgery. She is currently the Associate Director of Breast Surgery at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Chicago and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rosalind Franklin Medical School, Chicago. She has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Feb 2019. She has been teaching a weekly yoga class for the CTCA employees since July 2019.

Radheshyam Miryala, MD

Radheshyam Miryala MD lives in Seabrook, TX with his wife and two daughters. He is a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician in the Greater Houston area where he serves as the Medical Director for Neighbors Health System at the Porter, TX location.  He worked in academics for 12 years where he was actively involved in teaching residents and students and caring for patients at John Sealy Hospital’s Level 1 Trauma Center.

Ragini Miryala, MD

Dr. Ragini Miryala is a Pediatrician and Owner of PediSTAT Child/Teen Urgent Care. Since becoming a certified meditation trainer for the Heartfulness Instititute in June, 2015, Dr. Miryala has conducted small and large group meditation sessions for individuals, elementary schools, hospitals, senior living facilities, and corporations such as Lulu Lemon Athletica, JP Morgan Investment Corporation, and Air Liquide. She lives in Houston, TX with her husband and two children.
